Transport & Parking
There will be no parking available in the pub car park or outside the pub (unless you arrive in a vintage car, in which case you will be able to show it off on the lay-by opposite the pub).
All other car parking will be in a couple of fields about 300m from the pub and you will be directed by signs and parking attendants
(Don’t worry, there will be plenty of tractors around to pull you out if you get stuck!). The road in front of the pub will be closed to through traffic on Saturday and Sunday.
We want to encourage as many people to cycle to the festival as possible and
there will be a secure bicycle lock up area along the fence in the pub car park (bring your own lock!).
You will also be able to camp in the car park fields. Be aware that no facilities will be available and you camp at your own risk.
The car parks must be fully vacated by 6pm on Sunday or your vehicle will be removed.
Please feel free to bring your own chairs to the festival.
Please respect our neighbours when you make your way back to your car.
Bars & Festival Glasses
20 real ales and 6 real ciders will be available in the Beer Tent in the front garden.
Single serve bottles of Pinot Grigio, White Zinfandel and Merlot, and soft drinks (Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Fanta & Water) will also be available from the Beer Tent.
10 real ales exclusively from Essex will be available from the Cellar Bar situated through the gate in the front garden.
The Essex real ales will also be available from the Main Bar situated inside the pub. Otherwise, the Main Bar will function as normal.
You will need to purchase a commemorative festival glass (from the gazebo situated at the front of the pub) in order to buy beer or cider from any of the bars.
You will also need to hire a wine glass to buy wine from the beer tent.
A festival glass costs £3 and will be yours for the duration of the festival (it can be returned to the gazebo for a £2 refund if you don’t want to take it home with you).
A wine glass costs £1 (it must be returned to the gazebo for a 50p refund).
ALL PROFITS FROM THE SALE OF GLASSES WILL BE DONATED TO FARLEIGH HOSPICE
Food Tent
The food tent will be situated in the pub car park. The bbq will consist of “Mini Huffers” with a choice of a Humphreys Burger,
a brace of Sweetlands Sausages or (our now famous!) Roasted Veg. An ice cream van will also be in the pub car park on Saturday and Sunday.
No food will be available from within the pub.
First Aid
The British Red Cross are providing First Aid care from noon – 5pm on Saturday only. They will be based inside the pub, in the pink room.
